How a Big Ten Championship and Orange Bowl loss in 2013 helped catapult the 2014 team to the 1st Undisputed National Title in College Football history. We discuss his recruitment and development as a Buckeye and how he transformed from a “soft suburban kid” into a three-year starter, captain and All Big Ten Linebacker. It is a remarkable conversation from a kid who I didn’t know if he would last a season at OSU, let alone need a trophy case for his awards.
